Fisherman's BreakfastEvery year on Opening Day of fishing season the Summit Lake Community Association hosts a huge pancake, egg & sausage breakfast for all of the hungry anglers and lake residents. There is also a bake sale, logo item sale and raffle. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the SLCA and is staffed by amazing volunteers from around the lake.

Easter Egg HuntThe Easter Bunny visits Summit Lake for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the SLCA. It is the Saturday before Easter, so the bunny has plenty of time to hide lots of treat filled eggs - and one special Golden Egg for each age-group of kids.

Cinco De Mayo, Community Picnic & OktoberfestSeasonal celebrations and always amazing potlucks are a great way to relax and get to know your neighbors around the lake.

July 4th Boat ParadeThe Forth of July boat parade is a favorite annual event at Summit Lake. Each year 20-30 boats join the parade and circle the lake to celebrate Independence Day with their red, white and blue decor. The docks are full of onlookers, waving and encouraging the procession. There are prizes given for Best Decorated, Most Patriotic, Most Crowd Pleasing and Honorable Mention.

Lake CleanupEach Spring, lake residents walk the roads around Summit Lake to pick up all the trash. It is a true community effort as everyone is assigned a section, then sent off with an orange vest, a trash grabber and several trash bags! All the debris is corralled back at the Community Hall and is picked up by Thurston County, our partner in the clean up.
