Building Community at Summit Lake
We are so fortunate to be living in such a beautiful place – Summit Lake is special and that is why so many of us have chosen to live, recreate, relax and create memories here. Many of the things that make it special, however, also give us some unique challenges:
The Summit Lake Community Association has been working to build a strong, cohesive community for almost 80 years. The member’s efforts maintain the Community Hall on Summit Lake Road, sponsor events such as the the Easter Bunny Egg Hunt, the Fisherman’s Breakfast, Cinco de Mayo, the 4th of July Boat Parade, Community Yard Sales, the Community Picnic, Oktoberfest, Game Nights, Pot Lucks, the Open Mic Night, and the Santa Claus visit to the Clubhouse. SLCA fosters communication to the community through newsletters and emails.
Many members of this community have stepped up to help manage these issues – but we need your help, too!
