Summit Lake Water Watchers Facebook Page To join this site as a Summit Lake Water Watcher Volunteer please read & agree to description below and answer the 3 questions sent through messenger. If you are just wanting to be informed and up to date on lake water there are a few options: the Summit Lake Community Association Facebook page, The Thurston County Public Health Summit Lake site or getting signed up on the mailing list to receive all emails from the Water Quality Team. All of these are a great way for family and friends to stay up to date. The Summit Lake Water Watchers Facebook page has a specific intention. I am looking for volunteers to join me on this mission to take some kind of action to help protect the lake and keep an eye out for Algae Blooms. As a strong group of Water Watchers working together networking, researching and communicating with each other we can make a difference in protecting this watershed. We can use this site to track Algae Blooms, Record Times, Dates and Location. We can also work together to get samples to Thurston County Public Health in a timely manner. We can share educational material, research articles and data. If you decide to join the Facebook team please make sure all post are related to protecting this beautiful resource that we drink!
